The Perioperative Outcomes Initiative (POI) is a hospital network aimed to improve perioperative processes and patient outcomes.  POI is a Collaborative Quality Initiative (CQI) launched in 2010.  POI is innovative and efficient as it uses data from electronic medical records (EMR) and clinical data systems for analysis and improvement purposes.
